NEWS:

Update 9/20/2006:

Strongarm is currently on a short hiatus from live performances while we finish writing new material and prepare to begin recording. We have been making progress and all signs point toward a great new album.

People will definitely be surprised. Some because of the more focused sound and higher quality of musicianship, and some because our influences are becoming more apparent and the overall sound isn't as "Oi!" as our old stuff. We still sound like Strongarm, but we're definitely developing as songwriters and musicians. Those who have heard some of the new songs live know the direction we're going, and feedback has been extremely positive.

Now, when we come back to the stage in November, we're doing it real proper! We kick it off Nov. 10 in L.A. with our good pals Hudson Falcons and Pressure Point. Then, beginning Nov. 16 in Tempe, we'll be supporting The Business on all four of their West Coast shows. Hope to see you all there!

Here are the details:

Friday, Nov. 10 - Hudson Falcons, Pressure Point, Strongarm and the Bullies, more TBA @ The Airliner, 2419 N Broadway (Cross Street: Avenue 24), Los Angeles, CA 90031.

New Bass Player joins the gang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please join us in welcoming Chalon to the band!

She had two weeks to get ready for a recent three-show stint and she did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier and couldn't feel luckier to have such a good friend and great musician join this motley crew. We hope she will be around for a long, long time.

We did lose another good friend in the process, Johnny Poison, and we wish him and his family all the best. When we all retire from the road, we're going to start an old man punk rock band with him!
